Got the album art nailed down now and we begin rehearsing again this monday after an eternal break. yessum.

I mean, Steaks are High people… But uh.. anyway, we went for a band dinner which is the nicest way to get your head back into the game. Final plans in place to put this album out and finally play some shows again, all while getting meat drunk.

Most of you probably know that The Chinball Wizard aka Trevor Anderson had his short film about Edmonton’s most odious edifice The High Level Bridge accepted to this years Sundance festival. In fact he is there right now hob-knobbing it up, presumably taking blurry celeb iphone photos and trying to smell David Lynches hair. We wish! Congrats Trevor…

So to even further delay things, my computer rigorously cornholed itself last week during a back-up. This was of course on the day that my new pre-amps arrived and I was giddy like a 10 year old at Christmas to try them out. My rage is a bubbling cauldron of.. uh..  rage..  Anyway, I did crack the tracks and I’m even more determined to crank these chunes out. mmhmm

So it’s been a long year. To begin 2011 I have cracked open the dusty session files for this forthcoming, eternally delayed album. Not quite sure what the future holds yet, but it would seem like we’re maybe, perhaps, possibly going to be doing some shows before spring. Fingers crossed.

So, we’ve been working on a new album and it’s nearly ready to roll. I thought I’d try to make a renewed effort to update our website and to that end, I’m making some minor (sweeping) changes to the existing site. Well for starters, Doug Organ no longer taps the congas gently so we’ll have to photoshop the new guy’s face onto all those old promo shots. We’ve also got new crap to roll out and old crap to delete so it is probably (not) easier just to remake the whole shebang.
